贏了? 輸了?
其實我倒是願意以比較輕鬆的態度唱首歌或是說個冷笑話,一切事情該交給司法去處理的就該去處理,該修正錯誤的趕快修一修,那麼選戰激情在我們的人生所扮的角色呢? 嘿嘿,或許好好做個愛還比較重要。
在我們這次選戰當中,有歡笑,也有淚水。有台灣人民的勝利也有台灣人民的失敗。
我知道一些大陸內地的朋友們在會以簡易的二分法來「關心」這場選舉,簡易的二分法有多麼地脆弱,說某體制就有真實,某體制就有虛假,我並不這麼認為,我倒是覺得不用把參選人的任何一方說得是全對或全錯、或者偶像化或污名化。其實二分法在台灣媒體也有啦,選後得知北藍南綠的局面,還在記者訪問政評家說會不會造成南北分裂的局面? 我覺得這樣子二分法的心態並不是很好。
藍綠都要檢討,不是像陳真說的,一直在想公平不公平的,沒錯,執政黨有執政黨的行政資源,或許可以利用來作對自已勝選有利的事,但是在野黨又何嘗沒有另外的優勢? 那就是「監督」,民進黨的政府是有很多漏洞的,可以讓大家來批評指教的,國民黨如在過去四年內在這方面作得好,又何止是只有這些票數而已? 自怨自艾誰都會,說不公平誰都會說,但是,真的有反思到自已過去的作為了嗎? 至少我覺得這次的國民黨沒有反省的能力,幾名打手拿著耳語、說著「聽說如何如何……」就想操弄選民,是污辱了人民的智慧了。
我開始懷念我高三至大一時讀過的「銀河英雄傳說」,這部小說影響了我,讓我得以對政治人物的高度清醒,而對台灣人民也有不同的看法,如同標題而言,我覺得台灣人民贏了,其實依據的就是這部小說對於人民行使自由選舉制度的一些論述,怎麼說呢? 首先人民高度關心,有百分之八十左右的公民行使投票權,不漠然,是人民對得起自已的行為,因為只有一個高投票率的國家,才能展現出民主的可貴,因為,人民並沒有偷懶,而是人人都盡到一份責任,即便後來選出來的領導人,帶領人民走向不對的道路去,那畢竟也是人民最後的選擇。
我還覺得人民贏了,是因為今天我們有為數眾多的台灣人,對著當權者的不信任感,我覺得這一點,台灣人民與其說是暴民,不如說是人人都有追求真相的權利及行動,這在別的國家是被禁止的,行動是被壓抑的,以此為出發點來說,能有這麼多人花這麼多時間在討論、抗議著一些疑點,其實是該微笑以對的。
這並不代表我喜歡這種群眾運動,事實上如果你要求公平,不如要求程序正義,照正常程序來,以下就是我很想提供給連戰的演講稿:
各位人民,各位國家的主人:
今天,我們國民黨在選戰中,很不幸地,以些微的差距敗給了民進黨,選舉要讚揚的是理性,現在我以真誠的心,先祝福我們的民主進步黨在這場民主盛宴裏得到了勝利……同時,國民黨在這裏也決定,以理性的態度來提出一個訴求,因為差距如此之小,我們這組團隊依法提請行政驗票的訴求,以公正本陣營的民心。另外,我們明日起,開始進行和平抗議,請大家告訴大家,讓我們集結在總統府,向當選人表達強烈地懷疑,並質疑這是不是一場公平的選舉。
該進入司法的,進入司法,該修法的修修法,該改變投票規則的先在下一次選舉前改一下,該那裏作不好的,把它改掉,主推產品不合大眾口味的,換掉,(我可沒說是那兩個頭頭)千萬,千萬,不要知法違法,不要再寄好笑的博士寫的數字推理給我,這一切的一切,都依法辦理,依人民的決定而徹底改變吧。
其實這幾天來,我對國民黨的黨性,也就是不知檢討,有著很大的反感,如果他們要再這麼搞下去,那麼我年底立委一定選綠!
天啊,我想到了這幾天我的股票! 嘿,別笑……

銀河英雄傳說...每次讀起來都覺得..他是一本歷史..而不是一本小說...
相較之下..之後寫的 創龍傳,亞爾斯蘭戰記 等..反而比較像是小說....
不過田中芳樹的小說總是很不避諱的指責各種腐敗政治.每次看都會覺得很過癮...
或許我也是從那時後起開始對政客與政治等不再有太大的興趣吧...
的確....應該讓司法的不應該讓司法的部分回歸司法...
一味的鼓動情緒, 只會製造更多的不安
希望大家都能理性一點, 選舉並不只有激情, 不是嗎?

---
Good evening. Just moments ago, I spoke with George W. Bush and
congratulated him on becoming the 43rd president of the United States,and
Ipromised him that I wouldn't call him back this time.
晚安。我稍早與小布希聯絡過,恭賀他成為第四十三任美國總統,也向他保證這次不會再收回敗選聲明。
I offered to meet with him as soon as possible so that we can start
to heal the divisions of the campaign and the contest through which we just passed.
我表示希望能盡快與他會面,以彌合我們剛經歷過因競選和抗辯所造成的分裂。
Almost a century and a half ago, Senator Stephen Douglas told
Abraham Lincoln, who had just defeated him for the presidency,
"Partisan feeling must yield to patriotism. I'm with you, Mr.
President, and God bless you."
在將近一個半世紀前,參議員道格拉斯告訴剛剛在總統大選中擊敗他的對手林肯:「國家重於黨派意識。我支持你,總統先生,願上帝保佑你。」
Well, in that same spirit, I say to President-elect Bush that what
remains of partisan rancor must now be put aside, and may God bless his stewardship of this country.
基於同樣的精神,我在此要向總統當選人小布希表示,政黨之間的積怨必須擺在一 邊,願上帝保佑他的領導。
Neither he nor I anticipated this long and difficult road. Certainly
neither of us wanted it to happen. Yet it came, and now it has
ended, resolved, as it must be resolved, through the honored institutions of our democracy.

I strongly disagree with the court's decision. I accept it. I accept the finality of this outcome which will be ratified next Monday in the Electoral College. And tonight, for the sake of our unity of the people and the strength of our democracy, I offer my concession.

So let it be with us.
讓我們這次也如此吧。
I know that many of my supporters are disappointed. I am too. But
our disappointment must be overcome by our love of country.
我知道許多我的支持者心裡很失望,我也是一樣。但我們必須以對國家的熱愛來取代我們的失望。
And I say to our fellow members of the world community, let no one
see this contest as a sign of American weakness. The strength of
American democracy is shown most clearly through the difficulties it can overcome.
我還要告訴世界上的其他人,不要把這次選票爭議看作是美國衰弱的象徵。從美國所克服的困難中,正好淋漓展現了美國民主的力量。
Some have expressed concern that the unusual nature of this election might hamper the next president in the conduct of his office. I do not believe it need be so.
有些人擔心這次特別的選舉,會對下屆總統推行政務造成不利的影響。我並不認為定會如此。
President-elect Bush inherits a nation whose citizens will be ready to assist him in the conduct of his large responsibilities.
總統當選人布希所接掌的國家,是一個舉國上下均準備好協助他執行重責大任的國家。
I personally will be at his disposal, and I call on all Americans – I particularly urge all who stood with us to unite behind our next president.
This is America. Just as we fight hard when the stakes are high, we close ranks and come together when the contest is done.
我個人將聽其差遣,而且我要呼籲所有的美國人—尤其是支持我的民眾,團結一致力挺下屆總統。這就是美國:輸贏難分時我們全力以赴;但競選結束後我們捐棄前嫌、團結一致。
And while there will be time enough to debate our continuing
differences, now is the time to recognize that that which unites us is greater than that which divides us.
儘管仍有足夠的時間就我們彼此的差異繼續爭論下去,但此刻我們必須承認:在這些差 異中,將我們團結在一起的,遠比會分化我們的重要。
While we yet hold and do not yield our opposing beliefs, there is a
higher duty than the one we owe to political party. This is America and we put country before party. we will stand together behind our new president.

As for what I'll do next, I don't know the answer to that one yet.
Like many of you, I'm looking forward to spending the holidays with family and old friends. I know I'll spend time in Tennessee and mend some fences, literally and figuratively.
至於我日後的動向,我目前還沒有答案。就像各位一樣,我期待和家人、老朋友一 起 共度佳節。我想我會回田納西州修修籬笆(喻為改善關係)。
Some have asked whether I have any regrets and I do have one regret: that I didn't get the chance to stay and fight for the American people over the next four years, especially for those who need burdens lifted and barriers removed, especially for those who feel their voices have not been heard. I heard you and I will not forget.
有人問我是否會有任何遺憾,我的確有個遺憾,那就是我失去在未來四年為美國人 民奮鬥的機會,尤其是那些面臨困難及障礙,需要幫助的人、那些覺得自己的聲音被 忽 略的人;我聽見了你們的心聲,而我永誌難忘。
I've seen America in this campaign and I like what I see. It's worth
fighting for and that's a fight I'll never stop.
我在這場選戰中看見了美國,而我樂見我所見。它值得我們奮鬥,而我會一直奮鬥下去。
As for the battle that ends tonight, I do believe as my father once
said,that no matter how hard the loss, defeat might serve as well as victory to shape the soul and let the glory out.
就今晚結束的選戰而言,我相信家父所言,無論敗得多慘,失敗與勝利一樣,淬練我們的靈魂,使它綻放出光芒。
So for me this campaign ends as it began: with the love of Tipper and our family; with faith in God and in the country I have been so proud to serve, from Vietnam to the vice presidency; and with gratitude to our truly tireless campaign staff and volunteers, including all those who worked so hard in Florida for the last 36 days.
對我而言,這場選戰的結束一如開始時:有著蒂波和我的家人給予我的愛、對上帝 的信念、對國家—這個從我參加越戰到擔任副總統以來一直引以為榮的國家—的信念以及對努力不懈的競選工作人員和義工的感激,包括過去卅六天來所有在佛羅里達 州賣力工作的人們。
Now the political struggle is over and we turn again to the unending struggle for the common good of all Americans and for those multitudes around the world who look to us for leadership in the cause of freedom.
現在,政爭已經告一段落,我們必須再次為美國人民爭取利益,並為世界上寄望我 們 領導爭取自由的廣大人民而努力不懈。
In the words of our great hymn, "America, the Beautiful": "Let us crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea."

And now, my friends, in a phrase I once addressed to others, it's time for me to go.
