用 VLC 碰到亂碼實在是很討厭，遍尋解法又少作了幾個步驟，以致於多花了我三、四個小時研究，原來我只是：

1. 沒有把字型檔放到 VLC 的程式目錄下。
2. 選錯字型檔，正確的字型檔應該是 ARIALUNI.ttf 這個檔，有22MB。
3. 沒有把預設偏好值 (preferences) 設回來預設值 (default) 再重新開啟 VLC。

就無法成功顯示繁體中文。所以如果要 VLC 正確顯示繁體中文，就要先把偏好設定設回預設值，然後去 Windows 下的 Font 字型目錄匣把 ARIALUNI.ttf 這個檔複製出來，貼到 VLC 的程式目錄匣下的 Font 檔案匣，然後再到偏好設定中，開啟「字型」設定，將字型的路徑設好到 VLC/Font/ARIALUNI.ttf 之後，再重新開啟 VLC ，再開影片、讀取字幕檔檢查一下。

可以的話，字幕檔檔名也儘量用英文，這樣就可以解決亂碼問題了。

因為 Firefox 有許多好用的擴展程式，所以這麼多年來從第一版到第三版一直使用著，效率方面也有一些經驗，可以盡量調整速度與 Safari 差不多，所以一路就用了下來了。在 Mac 上所要設定的是字型，這些日子東調西調後漸漸有些習慣的設定值，在此記下來以免以後還得用到。此次的調整，針對了簡體字作調整，調整為儷黑 Pro 後，雖然看起來筆劃還是有點粗細不一，但至少字的大小及高低整齊許多，明顯比沒調整前還要好。

字型與色彩：Arial 大小選 20 號。
進階設定：
對應此種語言：正體中文（台灣及香港）
1. 設「比例字型」：無襯線 (Sans Serif)，大小20。
2. 襯線：儷黑 Pro。
3. 無襯線字型：Arial。
4. 等寬字型：儷黑 Pro，大小17。
5. 最小字型大小 15 選「無」。（選無可以避免新版 FLICKR 的錯誤訊息。）

對應此種語言：簡體中文
1. 設「比例字型」：無襯線 (Sans Serif)，大小15。
2. 襯線：儷黑 Pro。
3. 無襯線字型：儷黑 Pro。
4. 等寬字型：儷黑 Pro，大小16。
5. 最小字型大小：無。

近來做事越來越覺得，待上位者應該要先帶心再來做些改革才行，對於「上司」對「部屬」的關係的反省，其實對於「教師」與「學生」的關係還蠻重要的，所以如果想帶好一個班，不妨從你希望你的主任、校長要怎麼對待你比較好，這樣子的出發點來想，來作關係的改進，這樣帶起班來也才能順利。

別忘了一個人會作事，驅動力來源就是心，俗話說帶兵要帶心，是完全正確的，如果你不能得到屬下的心，那指揮起來必定辛苦得多。但說實在的，要能得到所有屬下的心，也是不太可能的，盡力地提升屬下的忠誠度就是唯一法則。

身先士卒是很重要的，不要一開始就想要指派任務，就希望屬下能幫你做好，更不要指派任務後，不理不踩，連基本的詢問都沒辦法做到。那就更不用說，把工作都攬回來之後，指派完工作不理不踩，然後作壞了要罵，搞好了沒獎勵。

真正有熱情的上位者，必定做給屬下看看自己的能力，當屬下有質疑時，能夠開通他們的心思，使其心能盡量跟自己的一致，然後就放手給屬下做，過程中要監看，要關心，適時地鼓勵，常到基層走走，聽聽屬下的抱怨與建言，再嘗試作改進，不能放任不聞不問。捲起袖子，大家一起做事，說話可以強勢，但不要只是強勢，強勢的態度後面，一定要能有行得通的想法及利益，大家才會跟著上位者一起做事。所以不是一昧地放低身段，當然要放低身段是不錯的，但是只是說，如果身為一個上位者的你的脾氣不習慣於放低身段，那麼還是可以攻占下屬的心，只是需要更多的心理上的溝通了。

方向對了，事半功倍。方向不對，不是只是事倍功半而已，是什麼都沒辦法達成。你我都要引以為鑒。

在MAC上處理從射手網抓來的字幕檔，大多都是簡體編碼，需要加工處理一番，一般我都是這麼處理的：

1. 用 smultron 這套軟體，開啟 srt 檔，執行「文字」-->「以指定編碼載入」-->「選擇編碼為簡體」。用這個指令可以看到無亂碼的文字檔。

2. 再用 smultron ，執行「文字」-->「文字編碼」-->選「Unicode UTF-8」。用這個指令來轉換文字檔的編碼為 UTF-8。

3. 用 smultron 程式，全選所有文字，按「服務」-->「轉換所選的簡體中文文字」。轉為繁體字。接下來就可以查一下文檔中是否有「乾」、「干」、「幹」、「后」等常被轉換錯誤的文字，然後存檔。

4. 存檔完再用 smultron 開啟一次，確認該文字已是 UTF-8 編碼且為繁體字。

5. 在掛字幕檔的軟體如 VLC 或 MPlayer OSX Extended 等選擇 Encoding 為 UTF-8，字體選 LiHei Pro，即可看到繁體字幕。
